Halloween 2008

So tonight our ward had a halloween party and Lizzie and Tanner were both helping out with the party, Lizzie was a witch in the spook alley and Tanner helped with the what do you call it stick your hand in and touch discusting things that they say is even more discusting....Anyway I thought I would post pictures. Tanner is an emo kid and Lizzie is a witch. I will add to this post on Halloween with whatever it is they are going to be that day.

So this would be Halloween 2002. Lizzie was a grandma carrying her grandbaby on her back (way fun to make my mom made the grandma face) and Tanner was a airman (or course). Lizzie is in 5th grade and Tanner in 2nd grade.

catch up time

ok so lets start with the oldest stuff then go to the newest stuff ok first of all Lizzie performed at the Night of Shakespeare. Lizzie is at the beginnig as Norfolk then she is one of the ghosts in both of the ghosts scenes. In the first ghost scene she is the one that says something about thy wife. In the last ghost scene their hoods are off so you can see who she is. She had alot of fun doing it. I am trying to attach it to my blog but the video is about 4 minutes long and so large I am having issues with loading it. Tanner has been doing great in school this year I am so proud of him!!!! I will have a few picture of him on this blog they are hard to get. We went to Oktoberfest again this year (we always go!) Just love it. it is fun to make the kids sit and listen to polka one of those things we had to go through as children thanks to Lawrence Welk and feel that the kid should suffer through it as well but the bands make it alot more fun then LW ever did. We even got the kids to get out there and dance :)

Lets see....oh yeah then we had this grand plan to go to Moab for UEA weekend, but then the plan was foiled when Jeff and I were listening to the radio and 101.9 was doing a show live from Disneyland. So Jeff and I started a very fun secret planning of a trip to DL without our teenagers catching on, sometimes even planning stuff on our computers with the kids in the room. We kept saying Moab this Moab that, when the day of the trip finally came to be we thought for sure the kids would says something when we started driving north, nope nothing Jeff and I just looked at each other with a look of how oblivious can they be? Then when we get to the airport Tanner says (finally) why are we at the air port (Tanner is saying now he figured it out the day before but didn't want to say anything for fear of ruining the surprise). So we tell the kids we ar flying to St George then renting a car and going to drive to Moab. We were sitting at the GATE for 10 minutes or more before Lizzie looked up at the gate board and saw Orange County CA and then she kinda freaked out!!!!! Tanner got a new phone that he has been waiting for forever and said first he got the phone then we are going to Disneyland TODAY IS THE BEST DAY EVER!!!!

We had a great time at Disneyland, we were excited to go because they have the whole park decorated up for Halloween and the Haunted Mansion is completely redone after Nightmare Before Christmas (which Lizzie just loves!). It was so fun! We even changed things up a little bit and went to the beach one afternoon, we went to Huntington Beach and went body surfing and then hunted for shells there were TONS even found a whole sand dollar.

Homecoming!!!

Ok so not to be too boastful but she just looked so beautiful!


Lizzie got asked to Homecoming with a guy from her drama class named Chance. She was so excited!!!


She borrowed the dress from Margo thanks to Melanie for setting up the M&M Dress shop.


I did her hair thanks to Becky giving me some pointers and her nails it was a fun day getting her already.


Here is a picture of her hair doesn't look as good as it did in person but not to bad.


Well Tanner, Jeff and I are off to go see a movie (which Lizzie wants to see but she choose a date over this hehe) so I better close I will add more later. Thanks for letting me brag!
